Fathers don't say much. They rarely express what's going on in their hearts. But when they do speak, it's usually because they're proud of you... or because they're disappointed in you. And maybe that's why it hurts so much. Today, I realized my father is disappointed in me. He didn't shout. He didn't say anything harsh.
